Our Quality Journey

At this Meetup we have invited Jørgen Lund, Senior Test Manager, to look into Systematic’s Quality Journey.

Everyone makes quality software! And everyone has their own understanding of what makes their product a quality product.

In this presentation, I will dive into the subject of quality. I will take you on a historic journey of the SitaWare products, which over the past 15 years have gone from a development prototype to a world-leading software suite in the defence market.

We will examine the journey from a quality and testing perspective: How quality is created through all phases of the software development and delivery, and how all roles in the project plays an active part in delivering “the whole package” of high-quality products and services.

Finally, we will take a look at how testing and QA is done today. We dive into the methods for defining, monitoring and implementing our quality initiatives.

Main takeaways:

– Quality evolves over time – your strategy must evolve too

– Quality is developed through all stages by everyone involved

– Quality has many aspects – identify and prioritize the most important ones

Target Audience

This talk should be suitable for testers, test managers, architects, product owners and project managers.
