The following describes how Destination AARhus treats and uses the data from newsletter subscriptions, event sign-ups, and participation. When you sign up for a Destinations AARhus event, you agree to provide us with personal information such as name, email, company, profession, and nationality. We ask these questions for multiple reasons; first, contact information is used for sending reminders and practical information before events and in some cases to share evaluations, presentations, etc. after events. Sometimes, the information is used to make name tags and participant lists for events. Finally, we want to gain knowledge about the participants at our events to make statistics about our event attendees.

Your personal information will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for the organization of the event. For instance, we may share dietary requirements with catering services or contact information with event partners. In such cases, we ensure that all third parties comply with applicable data protection regulations.

When you visit our website, we register different information about your journey such as; pages, browser, and IP address. The data is used to improve and develop our website. We use Google Analytics to track and measure the traffic on our website. Your data is safely stored in our system. We do not share the data.
