We ask these questions for multiple reasons; first, contact information is used for sending reminders and practical information before events and in some cases to share evaluations, presentations, etc. after events. Sometimes, the information is used to make name tags and participant lists for events. Finally, we want to gain knowledge about the participants at our events to make statistics about our event attendees.
