Software is eating up the world – a cybersecurity perspective on digitalization (Morning Meetup)

6. June · 08:30 - 10:00 By: Jens Roed Andersen

When: Tuesday, June 6, 8:30-10:00

Where: Hasselager Centervej 3b, ground floor, 8260 Viby J

"Software is eating up the world" as Marc Andreesen stated already in 2010. But what does this mean for companies and their general resilience, now that most of them have gone down the digitalization path?

Jens Roed Andersen will give his views on the challenge and produce some potential solutions, of which a couple might be unexpected and not so technical in the end. Because the somewhat short history of cybersecurity has shown, that one of the biggest obstacles is in fact not necessarily technical. It could be more in the direction of explaining the "why, what and how" to the “money-men and -women” in the business and management, in order to get much needed "direction".

Jens will be taking a starting point in his experiences as expert within Cybersecurity for more than 2 decades and share some of his latest experiences from the role as a freelance DevSecOps Lead Architect at Grundfos over the past 2 years.

About Jens Roed Andersen

Jens Roed Andersen is what can be called "first generation cyberwarrior" and a real oldtimer, as he started working in information security 25 years ago. Initially as the CISO for Arla Foods and Energinet.dk and since as freelance consultant, with many Danish and foreign clients on his list. Recently, he has been focusing on OT security and the secure SDLC, particularly how to produce secure code, while at the same time staying competitive.
