A career in the IT department
As IT employees, we work with the latest technologies within the healthcare sector. You come right down to the machine room and work with technologies such as Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, NodeJS and Go as, for example, a front-end or back-end developer.
You can also work with the Enterprise Data Warehouse based on Microsoft technology (SQL, SSIS) or use the Tableau platform as a reporting and visualization platform.
If you are more interested in working with general OS operations, i.a. Linux and Windows, then you must be part of our operations department. Here, you can work with security patching and troubleshooting of our many different solutions, primarily through VMware vSphere. We have approx. 4.400 virtual machines in operation and ACI (network virtualization). We also work with Cloud Native application operations and new tools for these.

The IT department in Region Midtjylland is among Denmark's largest IT departments with just over 500 employees. We are responsible for the entire supply chain from development, design, and project to operation, product management, and support. We also have a large Business Intelligence area and a center for telemedicine solutions.
We are specialists in our business and in bridging the gap between IT and technological development and the users within care and treatment professions, health professionals, and their unique IT needs and workflows. Our noblest task is to use, develop and operate IT that makes it easier to be a patient and citizen and easier to be employed.
