The topic for the second Destination AARhus Meetup fo- cuses on Timeseries Datamodels Cassandra: DOs and DON’Ts. The speaker is Dávid Borsós who will present on the evening of June 6, 2017. During the meetup, there will be a short break with refreshments and time to talk.

Cassandra is type of NoSQL database designed for handling larges amounts of data across multiple commodity servers. Furthermore it is a highly scalable and  high.performance distributed database.


Expert Presentation by Dávid Borsós from OpenCredo

Dávid Borsós works on several technical engagements for OpenCredo. His main focus is server-side development with Java and Spring, microservice architectures, and dis- tributed data processing technologies including NoSQL da- tabases. He also has an interest in infrastructure automa- tion and delivery pipelines.

Dávid regularly attends conferences and was also respon- sible for organising the annual Challenge24 Programming Contest. He has several years of experience working in the financial industry, developing internally used web-based tools to support the maintenance and operations of a large IT infrastructure.
