What: Delegate presents why it is important to have both the technical development and the business end users in consideration when working with data. After the presentation, there will be plenty of time for networking, food, and beverages.
Today most companies strive to be more data-driven and wish to use data to reach their business goals. This can be done by building a technical solution that uses business data and combines it with business knowledge. In this session, we will talk about why we in Delegate think it is important that the people with the business knowledge and the people building the technical solution communicate with each other when building data solutions. If both parts are not considered a solution can end up not being used or maintained. This tech talk will furthermore discuss the consideration of choosing an on-prem data warehouse vs a cloud-based data lakehouse, as well as give a brief introduction to Power BI and the importance of a data model.

Julie Langdal Andersen, Consultant - Data & AI
I graduated with a master’s degree in political science from Aarhus University in 2019. Before joining Delegate in October 2022, I worked as a consultant and senior consultant within two different consultancy companies. In Delegate I works as a consultant and is part of the Data & AI team.
On a daily basis I work both with the technical solutions (in Synapse and SQL) and data visualization (in Power BI) as well as communicating with the customers to ensure that the right solutions are built.
Kia Boesen Thomsen, Consultant - Data & AI
I started as a Student Assistant at Delegate while studying Health Technology Engineering and is today a full time Consultant in the Data & AI team.
On a daily basis I work both with the technical solutions as well as communicating with the customers to ensure that the solutions fit the customers' needs. Technologies I use are for example the Azure platform, Synapse Analytics and SQL.
