How do you get started with Machine Learning? This talk will answer that question. Machine Learning systems require much more than just training and prediction. However, the performance of the Machine Learning algorithm is the centerpiece of it all. This talk with Nicholai Stålung will give a brief introduction to Natural Language Processing, Image Analysis and structured data in the context of Supervised Learning.
You can expect to be introduced to
This talk is for tech people and tech leaders with a general or specific interest in how and where to apply Machine Learning.
The talk will be slightly technical, however leaders with some technical knowledge will also gain from it. Nicholai addresses some use cases and topics that relates to the business. Hence, this meetup can also be seen as an inspirational talk about where and how to start addressing Machine Learning in your business.
Nicholai Stålung has a background in econometrics, mathematical modelling and financial technology. He currently work as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Consultant at Trifork Copenhagen.
Trifork consists of technology experts that enjoy delivering scalable and agile projects for complex business issues. They have a passion for technology and develop their solutions, mainly using open source software.
At Trifork, they have been using Machine Learning as a way to achieve rapid growth through smart solutions. In essence, businesses are leveraging from the fact that machines are far better and faster at training models to identify patterns in data at large scale than a person, which businesses can benefit massively from.
